"Nothing about us, without us" is the saying… yet why do organisations and institutions, who hold so much power over us, so rarely have women of colour in decision-making positions? What would it take to see women of colour elevated to positions of power across the country? Is it possible to enter mainstream institutions and change them from within, or must we create our own power through our own organisations?
What would the world look like, if women of colour had institutional power in proportion to our representation?
And how much would this upset the rise of far-right authoritarianism around the globe?
We are not content to be your diversity hire, your frontline faces only. Our stories matter, and deserve to be uplifted. So join us for an afternoon of questions, discussion, and networking.
