What does a truly inclusive future look like for our families?
Join us at our hybrid panel discussion + community forum happening online and in-person, as part of the program for Moorooka Giant Playdate Free Family Day. Families, caregivers, allies, and anyone who wants to create a world where every child has the opportunities, support, and inclusion they deserve - this is for you!
RSVP to receive details to join either online, or in-person.
You’ll hear from an inspiring panel of speakers from the community as they share their lived experiences and practical insights into building communities that work for everyone:

- Viv Nguyen - A lived experience mental health peer worker and poet
- Alex Buchanan - Local disabled artist and advocate who is passionate about seeing disabled people being empowered and finding their disabled pride
Facilitated by Remah Naji, Greens Candidate for Moreton, the panel will be discussing and fielding questions on topics such as…
- What it’s like being disabled right now
- How disability is a part of life and connections with families
- How disability justice is connected with other struggles and fights for justice
- What we need to do and know to build an inclusive future
