Mega Moreton Weekend of Action in Runcorn!

Help us make history in Moreton by making Remah Naji the first Palestinian-Australian woman elected to Federal parliament, transforming federal politics forever.

We are excited to be joined by Senator Mehreen Faruqi, who will be joining us in solidarity to doorknock the entire suburb of Runcorn in 1 weekend, and deliver letters to all of Eight Mile Plains and Salisbury!

Doorknocking is our most powerful tool for connecting with people in the community to hear about their struggles, and invite them to participate in our movement. We'll be running a community gathering just one week later in Runcorn, so we want to invite as many people in the neighbourhood as possible to join us, and connect them to Remah.

We know people in Moreton are tired of being taken for granted by the major parties while they struggle with the cost of housing and groceries, so it's time to reach out to them.

Don’t worry if you’ve never campaigned before – we’ll make sure you receive training and are paired with our most experienced doorknockers. If this is your first session, it's up to you how much you'd like to engage on the day, and you are welcome to tag along and just listen to start off.

Remember to bring along a hat 🧢, water bottle 💧, and comfy shoes 👟

Come make history with us!

We acknowledge the Yuggera and Turrbal peoples as the traditional custodians and rightful owners of the lands on which we gather. Sovereignty over this place has never been ceded, and restitution for historical and ongoing colonial occupation has yet to be realised. Wherever we are on this continent, it always was and always will be Aboriginal land.

Will you come?
